Books Behind in Reading Challenge: 4
Today’s post is going to be a pretty short one (with a bonus poem at the end). I don’t have much to update you on that I haven’t already mentioned. What I will mention is that I think I’m starting to get used to the rules. I’m by no means to the point where I don’t have the urge to break them, but when I do have that urge my reaction to it isn’t one of frustration, it’s more of a quiet annoyance.
I didn’t mention it yesterday since that post had a clearer topic, but I’m one book closer to catching up to my reading goal! Yay!
Anyway, I really don’t have much to report. I’m still “enjoying” this challenge. If enjoying means knowing it’s good for me, and sticking with it. I guess one thing that I just thought of that’s a little different is that I’m noticing that I don’t feel quite the same urge to respond right away to notifications as I did before; I’m responding when I actually have some time to be thoughtful with my responses. Though, that could also be because I’m trying to set boundaries between work and life, and some of that has filtered into my daily life. But hey, I’m not complaining! More balance is always welcomed.
Since today’s post is so short, I shall leave you with a poem (which I will post later on its own):
the world is balanced
on a point.
teetering this way and that
with every fleeting moment.
finding your way
back towards center
especially when the world tilts
so far you might fall off
that is growth
Until next time,
-Acire
It’s great you’re enjoying it. Keep going 🙂
Thanks!
