Hello everyone!
I’ve been loving Plan With Me videos and posts a lot lately and I thought it would be fun to join in with one of my own.
I’ve been bullet journaling for almost 2 years and I love the flexibility of the system; I’ve always been a list maker. I love to organize things. Also, I love the opportunity to be creative.
This current journal has been my trusty companion since September! It’s a little beat up and dirty. Since it usually lives in my backpack, I can’t really expect it to stay clean and pristine. If I’m honest I kind of like that it’s a little worse for wear. This journal has been well used and well loved.
I’m nearing the end of my current journal (I’ve only got about twenty pages left, yikes!) so I’ve had to keep my monthly spreads short and sweet this month. Normally I’d include a few more, such as a separate blog post editorial calendar, but I needed to save space so it’s going to get squished onto my regular calendar for this month.
I go through phases of decorating my layouts. Lately, I’ve been enjoying adding more color and decorations. We’re starting the final stretch of the school year, and having the little extra color makes me happy, which is always welcome at this point in the year. I’ve found, after trying many different layouts, that the traditional calendar works best for me. I like being able to see the weeks separately and I find it easier to get an idea of what a month entails than when using the original monthly log. That’s one of the things I love most about this system, I can change things whenever I want (which, admittedly, is a lot).
One of my favorite spreads to do each month is the “One Line a Day”. I can’t remember where I originally saw this idea, but I started using it about a year ago. The idea is simple, just write down something that happened that day that you want to remember. Sometimes I like to use it as a one-line journal entry. I love going back to previous months and seeing what I was up to or what I was thinking about.
The habit tracker is something that I’ve been using since my very first monthly spread. I was inspired by Kara at Boho Berry. I like collecting data, and so I like having a lot of things to track. A lot of these habits I’m doing well with and will probably be omitted from June’s tracker. I’ve already removed a few that are on April’s tracker for this next month.
Well, that concludes this Plan With Me. I hope you’ve enjoyed it! It was short and sweet, but since I’m nearing the end of my current journal I don’t have much space to work with!
Let me know in the comments if you want to see more bullet journaling posts!
I hope you’re all having a great day. Until next time,
-Acire
iI enjoyed reading about your skills at organizing.
I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for stopping by!
Apologies for being late to this post. It was, as the kids say, an ‘lol’ moment.
In my 2nd novel, I’ve a character who’s in the form of a quadruped Chinese dragon. About to attack, she roars a challenge! From inside her mind (just stay with me, here) SSGT. Hartmann yells, “That’s your plan?! A scream & a leap?!”
“We don’t plan!” Fausta shouted back as they fell toward the Lovecraftian horror…
