You are restless. The world is calling you, calling you to do something. Maybe something profound. Or maybe something… just something.
You’re not sure what exactly, but you have this feeling that it’s supposed to be important, whatever it is. Deep in your bones, you have a sense of purpose. Though whenever you start trying to figure just what it is, it slips away as easily as a fish in water.
It’s frustrating, adding to the restlessness. You just want to figure it out, to know what the world is asking of you. You’re impatient. Everyone around you seems to have it all figured out. They all seem to know exactly what the universe is asking of them. And here you are, trying and failing to find it.
But then you remind yourself (though it takes a while) that everyone is feeling that way. You remind yourself that you’re not alone, that this is part of being human, part of being alive. Struggling to find your calling doesn’t make you less than nor does it make you more than. It means you’re alive and breathing and thinking. It simply means you’re human. So you harness that recklessness and begin exploring.
Enjoy the exploration – listen to the whispers on the wind
I couldn’t agree more. In ways the exploration seems to be more of the point than the discovery. Thank you for coming by!
I feel this…
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you!
I really connect with your story. I’ve had a whirlwind of emotions being unable to grasp what it is I’m trying to find. Recklessness may help me find it, and sometimes we find things in the wonders of unplanned exploration.
I find I’m also often caught up in that same whirlwind. I just try to remind myself it’s part of the adventure. Thanks for stopping by!
